Are these symptoms Bronchitis, or "the flu"?

Symptoms are as follows: a red, scratchy red starting on the 9th for about 5 days. After that, it progressed to my lungs and up to my sinuses. I have been couphing a great deal. Sometimes sitting up or bending over too fast causes a bad headache or a strange small popping sound in my nose. This last Monday evening..a terrible fever felling like "the flu" came over me. I've been popping aceteminophen every 4 hours to feel functional in any way as I'm a nursing Mom. I went to a walk-in clinic on Tuesday morning, and apparently I have bronchitis. As a DOCTOR what is your professional opinion.
