What is the difference between the Maverick missile and the AGM-114 Hellfire?
The Hellfire was specifically designed to be an anti-armour missile whereas the Maverick is intended for a wide range of ground targets, naval vessels included. The Maverick also has a much greater range than the Hellifre, 30km as compared to approximately 8km.
