What is the theme of the movie Frequency?

uhhhhh. you kinda stumped me with the question. Its about a man contacting his dead father through a radio. the man is in present day and his dad is in the past. and the man is trying to prevent his fathers death. theme is like meaning, right? well i think its trying to say miracles do happen???? maybe not.
