Any good plumbers out there? Water is slowly feeding back into my loft tank and overflowing. What's wrong?

david c has a good answer but if that were the case the dhw would be dirty or discoloured my guess is that you have either a slow pump /a wrongly positioned pump or the cylinder stat faulty or set too high approx 60 deg is enough for most situations
