Should i ask him or not?

you sounded like me a few years ago...he asked me out and i even said no and then regretted it for a year in till he asked me to a dance just as friends...then i told him i like him...we were together for about 7 months and then he told me he was gay...i was like woah...where still really good friends i hope it works out better for you..but def tell him u like it...trust me those 7 months where some of the best and i don't regret it..so even if it doesn't work out...it doesn't hurt to try
